Vintage Louis XVI-Style Chippendale Mahogany Hand- carved Bench Settee Available & Ready to Ship// This is a beautiful rendition of a Louis XVI settee with chippendale style frame and intricate carved detailing throughout the all mahogany wood. Glamorous and very stately carved crest on the top depicting wings with crossed flames. The raw silk upholstery and piping is in near perfect vintage condition- zero noticeable signs of wear. Lush, vertical- stripped pattern with contouring coral, peach and citrine hues covers the entire settee; including arms and back allowing this piece to be free- floating. The colors are very rich and lush looking but difficult to depict, please see a video on our Instagram for a better representation of coloring. Would make a fabulous dining room bench, foyer entrance piece or formal living room addition! Turnaround time for Ready to Ship items is 1-3 weeks. Your shipping quote includes ONE small business private shipper to safely hand- deliver your piece to the GROUND FLOOR/ FOYER of your home. If stairs are needed, must pay shipper additional cost AND have at least one additional person for help.
We partner with some amazing, independent contracted shippers, that being said most of them travel alone. Shippings rates included ground floor/ foyer delivery. If you desire to have your piece placed in a specific room, or upstairs, you MUST have someone there upon arrival to assist with moving and pay additional cost to the shipper.
Once your piece is picked up and securely blanket wrapped, the shipper will be your main point of contact for receiving. We try to remain in close contact with our clients, but sometimes routes change for a variety of reasons causing delays or different arrival dates. These shippers are on tight timelines and can usually NOT reschedule. Please have a neighbor or family member on- deck if for any reason you cannot meet the shipper.
Yes, we ship anywhere in the continental U.S. (excluding Hawaii and Alaska.) If you experience shipping rate issues upon checking out, please e-mail or direct message us and we will try to work with our shippers and accommodate!
Please keep in mind all sales are final. These are vintage pieces and most between 50-70 + years of age. Vintage pieces will still have great bones, hardwoods, dovetail joints, wood glides. The interior will look well used. All that comes with living and serving for 50+ years to the previous owners. All vintage and handprinted items will have some imperfections.
